I just found these new punctuation marks on college humor. Not only are most of them absolutely necessary to typed conversation (i.e. EVERY text message, most gchats, and numerous emails) They are also well designed for their individual purposes. Below are my favorites, but you can see the rest over here at College Humor, asContinue reading “Because we are all typing more than talking now”

On Comic Sans
Remember when everyone hated comic sans? Oh wait that’s now. But here’s an interesting take on how some famous logos would look if comic sans wasn’t on everyone’s D list of acceptable typefaces. Granted, none of these are better than the real thing, but they aren’t awful either. I think it just goes to showContinue reading “On Comic Sans”
England How I Love Thee
It’s no secret that I love pretty much anything English. Especially design-wise. There’s something about it that I can’t quite put my finger on. I guess there’s this idea in my head that anything English is automatically more refined, or more elegant, or just better. A Word About Letterpress
It is a shame that I do not own my own letterpress. If I did, not only would you see really cool things in my etsy shop all the time, I would also be a much happier person. Typface Trysts
My first real memory of actually differentiating what typefaces I did and did not like was in a computer class in 7th grade. Our instructor told us to do our typing assignment in whatever font we liked best, but to make it 12 point and something legible. I had never actually thought about what fontsContinue reading “Typface Trysts”
