Hello all, and happy 2013! I’m finally back in SoFL, after quite a drive, and a wonderful visit with friends and family back home. Now that I’m back I’m shedding the vacation feeling, and trying to ramp up for the year of growth I plan to have in 2013.
This year I am going to try to take on designing freelance for real. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I do know there are a lot of steps I need to take on the way to “making it” as a freelance designer. The first of those is to set some goals. If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you’ll probably remember me mentioning Tara Gentile. If not, she’s one of those people I get emails from that make me want to go hide somewhere and cry/jump for joy at the same time. She’s about helping people earn, be creative, and do things their own way. My first step is to use her spacious goals guide to really get down to what I want out of this year: setting up a real, honest-to-God business for myself, and how to get there. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Until Next Time,
